What to Expect From a Legacy Luxe Senior Portrait Experience
Senior year moves quickly.
One minute you are ordering the last first-day-of-school outfit, and before long you are talking about graduation, college, careers, and what comes next.
Senior portraits give your family an opportunity to slow things down for a moment.
At Legacy Luxe Studio by David Krisher Photography, I create senior portraits for families who want more than a collection of images sitting on a phone. The experience is designed around your senior's personality, interests, style, and story—and around creating finished artwork your family can continue enjoying long after graduation.
Who I Serve
Legacy Luxe Studio is based in downtown Lebanon, Missouri, and I primarily work with high school seniors and their families throughout Lebanon and the surrounding communities.
The families who are the best fit for the studio usually want something a little different from the typical senior-picture experience.
They value:
A personalized experience instead of a one-size-fits-all session
Professional guidance rather than figuring everything out themselves
Portraits that genuinely look and feel like their senior
A combination of studio and location photography
Professional retouching and finished artwork
Albums and wall portraits that can become part of their family's history
You do not need to know how to pose.
Your senior does not need modeling experience.
And you certainly do not have to walk into the studio knowing exactly what you want hanging on your walls.
That is what the process is designed to help you figure out.
What Makes the Experience Different?
The biggest difference is that the portrait session is only one part of the experience.
Everything begins with planning.
Before the camera ever comes out, we talk about your senior: what they enjoy, what they wear, their personality, sports or activities they participate in, meaningful locations, and the overall look they want from their portraits.
Some seniors want something clean and sophisticated.
Others want bold studio light sports portraits, downtown locations, fields, water, vehicles, musical instruments, fashion-inspired images, or something completely different.
There is no formula your senior has to fit into.
During the session, I guide your senior through posing, expression, and movement so they never have to wonder what they are supposed to do next.
We can turn on their favorite playlist, change outfits, experiment with lighting, move between locations, and create a variety of looks while keeping the experience relaxed.
My style tends to be bold, dramatic, and polished, but the most important part is creating portraits that still feel authentic to the person in front of the camera.
What Does Your Family Actually Receive?
This is where the Legacy Luxe experience becomes very different from simply receiving an online gallery.
After the session, your portraits are prepared for your in-studio ordering appointment.
You will come back to the studio and see the images together. I will help you narrow down favorites and decide how you would most like to enjoy them.
Depending on the collection you choose, your finished portrait experience can include pieces such as:
Custom wall art
Metal portraits
Premium gallery wraps
Fine-art portrait displays
Luxury heirloom albums
Archival gift prints for parents and grandparents
Professionally retouched images
Web-resolution digital images for sharing online
Our top senior collection also includes print-resolution digital images.
The goal is not to make digital images the enemy. Digital photographs are incredibly convenient and give families an easy way to share their senior's portraits.
I simply believe your favorite photographs deserve to exist somewhere besides a phone.
Imagine walking through your home five or ten years from now and seeing your son's or daughter's senior portrait still displayed on the wall.
Or sitting down years from now and opening their senior album with your grandchildren.
That is the part of portrait photography I never want families to lose.
What Should You Realistically Expect to Invest?
I believe families should have a realistic idea of the investment before deciding whether Legacy Luxe Studio is right for them.
Senior portrait experiences begin with a $300 Creative Booking Fee, which reserves the session and begins the planning process. The booking fee is separate from portrait artwork purchased afterward.
Most Legacy Luxe senior families ultimately invest approximately $1,900 to $5,700 in their complete experience, depending on the collection, artwork, album, and portrait sizes they select.
You do not need to make all of those decisions before your session.
That is one of the reasons I use an in-person ordering process.
Instead of trying to guess what a 16×24 versus a 20×30 portrait will look like from a price list on your phone, I can help you compare options and choose artwork that makes sense for your family and your home.
Payment options are also available for families who prefer to spread their investment over time.
This is a customized portrait experience, and I never want families surprised by the process or wondering what comes next.
Where Do I Travel for Senior Portraits?
Although the studio is located in Lebanon, Missouri, sessions are not limited to Lebanon.
I work with seniors and families throughout Central and Southwest Missouri, including communities around:
Lebanon, Conway, Camdenton and the Lake of the Ozarks, Waynesville, Richland, Rolla, Springfield, and surrounding areas.
We can also discuss destination locations when there is somewhere especially meaningful or a particular look your senior wants.
I have traveled for senior sessions when the location helped tell the senior's story—and those sessions can produce some incredible experiences.
The location should serve the portrait, not the other way around.
Sometimes the perfect setting is two hours away.
Sometimes it is downtown.
And sometimes the most powerful portrait of the entire session happens fifteen feet inside my studio door.
What Happens Next?
If Legacy Luxe Studio sounds like the experience you are looking for, the next step is simple:
The consultation gives us a chance to talk about your senior, what you are envisioning, scheduling, locations, wardrobe, artwork, pricing, and any questions you may have before reserving a session.
There is no pressure to arrive with everything figured out.
That is precisely what the consultation is for.
Once you decide to move forward, we reserve your senior's date with the Creative Booking Fee and begin planning the experience together.
Then comes the fun part.
We create something that belongs to your senior.
Not someone else's Pinterest board.
Not the same poses every senior receives.
Not photographs designed to disappear into a camera roll.
Portraits that celebrate who they are right now—and artwork your family can hold onto long after senior year is over.
Ready to Start Planning?
Senior session availability is intentionally limited so I can give each client the level of attention the experience deserves.
If your student is approaching senior year—or you are already in the middle of it—now is a great time to begin the conversation.
Schedule your Senior Portrait Consultation with Legacy Luxe Studio and let's start designing an experience around your senior.
